Sensory profile This 2020 "Friulian native" is about youthful fluency. To the eye its intense ruby reverberates with violet reflections while on the nose its impetuousity rolls out an broadly elegant olfactory tapestry of blackberries, blueberries and cherry. In the catalytic fallout, as the wine spins and coils in the glass, those dark berried echoes are quickly suffused with violet and cyclamen, with sweet plum and toasted hazelnut. The aromatic effluvium persists without end and awaiting the more patient taster is a stimulating path to the scented world of spice: cocoa, vanilla, pepper, cardamom, sandalwood and red rooibos. Even though the olfactory notes are so evolved , the quality of the fruit that this wine expresses in the mouth is amazing. The sip is characterized by succulent releases of ripe red fruit and fresh mineral components, that give preciousness to this very long-lasting wine.

Pairings Great balance and medium-bodied. Ideal with grilled red meat or with game. Excellent also paired with roasted veal and with medium and long maturation alpeggio cheese.
