Sensory profile Greets the eye with a deep, vibrant ruby red with purplish highlights. Blackberry marmalade and liqueur red berries provide a generous, crisp opening to the bouquet, which is at all moments decisive and pronounced. Elegant notes of sweet tobacco, clove, and above all black pepper give multi-layered richness to a warm, appealing aromatic complex.
Pairings Its delicate note of gaminess makes this an exceptionally fine accompaniment to game that has been marinated and baked. Fatty, full-flavoured cheeses, succulent stews, and well-spiced grilled meats are also paradisiacal partners.
